Meeting Details:

The CIDJAP Monthly Review Meeting for the month of February was held on the 28th of February, 2024, with the management staff in attendance. The meeting commenced with an opening prayer led by Sr. Marius from CIDJAP St. Joseph Nursery and Primary School, invoking the presence and guidance of God.

Following the prayer, Rev. Fr. Paul Chidiebere Ani, the Deputy Director of CIDJAP and the meeting presiding officer, delivered the opening remarks, emphasizing the importance of collaboration and effective communication within the organization.

The minutes of the previous meeting were then read by CIDJAP Executive Secretary, Dr. Ebele Odinachi. The minutes highlighted the key points discussed in the last meeting presided by the President and Founding Director of CIDJAP Msgr. Prof. Obiora Ike, including action items and decisions taken. The minutes were moved by Mary and seconded by Sr. Nneka Okanume, and subsequently approved by the attendees.

Under matters arising, Barr. P.C Egbuna provided information about the upcoming conference to be organized by the Legal Department in collaboration with CIDJAP management team, urging all relevant staff members to participate and contribute actively for a flawless event.

Reports were then presented from various units of CIDJAP:

Sponsorship Desk: Dr. Ebele Odinachi presented the report on behalf of the Sponsorship Desk, outlining the tremendous progress made in securing sponsorships for indigent beneficiaries.

Accounts: Mrs. Uche Oji provided an update on the financial status of CIDJAP, highlighting key income and expenditure figures for the period under review.

CIDJAP St. Joseph Nursery and Primary School: Sr. Marius reported on the activities and developments at the school, including academic performance and infrastructure improvements, she equally thanked the President and Founding Director of CIDJAP Msgr. Prof. Obiora Ike for the bus given to the school.

Ofuobi African Centre: Mrs. Julie Okenwa gave a report on the activities and outreach efforts of the Ofuobi African Centre, focusing on key development initiatives for the days ahead.

Caritas Desk: Sr. Nneka presented the report from the Caritas Desk, highlighting CIDJAP’s humanitarian efforts and support for vulnerable populations.

Library: Mrs. Mary provided an update on the operations of the CIDJAP library, including new resources and services offered to users.

Closing Remarks: The Deputy Director of CIDJAP Rev. Fr. Paul Chidiebere Ani in his closing remarks, expressed appreciation for the efforts of the management staff and reiterating the importance of teamwork and dedication in achieving CIDJAP’s mission.
