CIDJAP officially opened the Nne Nke Ebere Hospital (Mater Misericordia) at Olu Aka Di Mma Road, Coal Camp, Enugu, marking a joyful milestone in its 39th Anniversary celebrations. A Holy Mass, celebrated by Msgr. Prof. Obiora Ike set a reverent tone as he described the hospital as a sanctuary of healing and hope dedicated to “Nne Nke Ebere” — the Mother of Mercy.
In preparation for CIDJAP @ 40 and Msgr. Prof. Ike’s 70th birthday, Rev. Fr. Ifunanya Anieke invited Msgr. Prof. Ike—joined by Msgr. Anthony Okeke—to unveil the dual-celebration emblem. The Bishop of Enugu, Most Rev. Callistus Onaga, blessed and inaugurated the facility, cutting the ribbon and sprinkling holy water through its wards.
The day concluded with an anniversary cake-cutting, group photographs, and musical renditions by children from Guardian Angels Motherless Babies Home (GAMB) and the women of St Patrick’s Parish, Ngenevu—a fitting tribute to CIDJAP’s mission of faith in action.
