Report of the Monthly Review Meeting of the Catholic Institute for Development, Justice and Peace (CIDJAP).

The Catholic Institute for Development, Justice and Peace (CIDJAP) held its monthly review meeting on Monday, 15th September 2025, at the Bishop Eneja Conference Hall, under the chairmanship of Msgr. Prof. Obiora Ike, the Founding Director.
The meeting commenced with the opening formalities led by Msgr. Prof. Obiora Ike, followed by the opening prayer led by Rev. Sr. Annette C. Sullivan.
In his opening remarks, Msgr. Prof. Obiora Ike reminded all management staff that Transparency and Accountability remain the highest policy in CIDJAP and he urged every staff member to uphold these values in the discharge of their duties. He also introduced two seminarians who had been sent to CIDJAP for pastoral and development experience. The Founding Director further reiterated the need for punctuality and called for a reinvigorated passion for work among all staff members.
Each Unit of the Institute presented its reports, after which the Founding Director gave constructive feedback and guidance. Emphasis was laid on the forthcoming CIDJAP 39th Anniversary Celebration, scheduled to hold on 4th October 2025, beginning with a conference on 3rd October 2025. Msgr. Prof. Obiora Ike encouraged the organizing team to sustain their commitment, noting that every detail must be handled diligently to ensure a successful celebration.
The meeting came to a close with the closing formalities led by Msgr. Prof. Obiora Ike and the closing prayer was offered by Rev. Fr. Ambrose Ofodile.
Conclusion:The Management review meeting served as a platform to strengthen the values of accountability, punctuality and dedication to duty within CIDJAP. With preparations ongoing for the 39th Anniversary, staff members were re-energized to contribute meaningfully towards its success.
