As part of the 2019 Global Ethics Day celebration, Globethics.net's head office, regional offices and national contacts share the importance of ethics.

Global Ethics Day is an initiative launched in 2016 by the Carnegie Council, which invites the organisations to create awareness of the role of ethics in the globalised world.

Mandela once said 'Education is the most powerful weapon to change the world'. The teachers and educators are the vehicles for this change—they are ones teaching the future leaders. Leading by example and teaching students about values and critical thinking are essential aspects to enable future generations to act according to ethical values. Integrating ethics within higher education institutions is the only way to accomplish this change. For this reason, Globethics.net's campaign this year focused on the importance of ethics in higher education.

As part of the campaign, Globethics.net staff in different regions of the world shared their support through photos. Additionally, Globethics.net, together with La Universidad Catolica Argentina, organised the first International Conference on Ethics in Higher Education, a transversal dimension: Challenges for Latin America in Buenos Aires.

Other events were organised by different organisations, such as the 4th Journey of Ethics in Business in Sao Pablo, Brazil, to highlight the role of ethics in business.

Globethics.net has been joining the Global Ethics Day since its launch in 2016. You can see here the different campaigns always emphasising the importance of ethics:
