The Coal City University Auditorium, Enugu, was filled with admiration and reflection on 12th November 2025, as Very Rev. Msgr. Prof. Obiora Francis Ike, Founder and Director of CIDJAP, delivered a compelling lecture at the Third Edition of the Distinguished Speakers Lecture Series. His presentation, titled "Ethics in Higher Education: The Foundation for Sustainable Leadership," highlighted the indispensable role of moral values in shaping responsible citizens and visionary leaders.

Msgr. Prof. Obiora Francis Ike emphasized that education devoid of ethics leads to knowledge without conscience, stressing the urgent need for universities to establish directorates of ethics to foster integrity, compassion and accountability alongside academic excellence. His power-packed address earned a standing ovation, followed by an engaging question-and-answer session where he provided insightful responses to participants.
